How to clear the Location service - Recent Activity

I use an app called Homedale to view nearby Wi-Fi signals. This helps me choose which channels are best to use for my router.

It uses the Location service in Windows 11 24H2 (26100 4349). It scans my area every few seconds.

When I go to Settings/Privacy & Security and click on 'Location' under the App Permissions section, under Recent Activity it is showing that Homedale has used the Location service over 10000 times in the past 7 days.

My question... How can I clear this recent activity list?

Try this:
It will delete other recent items in a different category as well though.

Thanks pepanee but unfortunately it didn't work either.

I ran the BAT file as administrator then rebooted. Then checked the location app permission and the 10,000 entries were still there. I also copied the code and made my own BAT file but that didn't work either.

I assume 10,000 is the maximum number of entries as it never gets any larger.

Maybe if I don't use the Homedale app for 7 days Windows will actually clear it on it's own.

I assume it doesn't take up much disk space. It's just a shame that MS doesn't have a delete option.

A log file like this shouldn't take up disk space at all. It's just a simple log file, even though it has 10,000 entries.
Hope someone else has resolution to delete that log though.
