Instead of having one drive automatically start & sync when my computer first boots up, would it be a better practice to delay how one drive runs ?

I really wish now that I'd never posted my question, being honest I really don't know what I was thinking when I posted it. Sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused as I surely wasn't actually trying to.
