When updating computer to Windows 11 I forgot to insert TPM module.
To my surprise Windows 11 installed normally.
When later checking PC Device Manager, there appears to be a TPM device with Hardware ID MSFT0101, which is part Intel PTT.
Is TPM functionality part of CPU or motherboard chipset?
What CPU's Motherboards combos can be expected to support Win 11 required TPM level?
Google couldn't provide simple reply.
But looks that Intel PPT exist already for many years.
System hardware:
Gigabyte motherboard H610MHDDR4 ver. 1.3
CPU Intel i9-12900K
Samsung 980 1TB NVMe M.2 (MZ-V8V1T0BW)
