Probably need to check your Windows credentials list, as they have been associated with your login to Windows.

Do not go randomly removing things that look like they make no sense:

I have this problem too! I would like to know where this is stored, I've seen it for a long time!
I tried searching the registry for accounts without success, I removed all credentials. I'm thinking that it either stays in a file with different information or in the registry in another format!

Bit late to the party, but I had this issue. Found this which resolved it for me: Removing Suggested Accounts in New Outlook.
Few areas to delete some cached files. But read the sections on the page since you need to open one of the files within notepad which should then show you the address of the old account. This is the one to delete, and more, if any.
