Hi everyone,
I had to restore from a backed-up image of Win 11 and now there is a weird thing in explorer. When I click on it, nothing happens.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Cheers :)

Looks like there's 2 Menu icons on there!
Maximize the window, see if one goes away.

Maximize the window, see if one goes away.
Tried that. No good. Also tried -
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
SFC /scannow
Neither fixed it. No idea what is wrong with it.

I'm afraid I can't help with the question, you've done all I would have done but I'm curious what backup and restore tool you used that has done this.

I'm going to try a repair install. I will do that tomorrow.
If that does not fix it I will just live with it. Not going through reinstalling Windows for that.

Macrium Reflect Home 8. I have been using it (Macrium) for years and never had an issue, until now.

Interesting, thanks. I switched to the same as you earlier this year having used AOMEI for several years.
Odd indeed. I'm afraid I've no answer though.

Hmmm...,
might have sumpthin to do with Tabs!
Try messin around with lots of tabs open, rearranging them, maximize the window, restore down..., etc...
Wonder what would happen if you disabled the Tabs feature?

I have to apologise to Macrium.
I just booted up my laptop, and the bug is there too (as well as my desktop).
I'm thinking it must be a bad update/app interaction.
Really weird!
