You have a laptop to extract the drivers from the zip file.
If you have the IRST drivers on the USB and you say you can boot the Win 11 USB installation drive, why don't you load the drivers during installation?

We already gave you all the information you need to do a clean install, even a tutorial and the needed drivers.

I've now seen the added bits of your post #6 and I am completely baffled about what problem you are reporting.
You should not need to use DiskPart at all.
Exactly what is happening when you try to clean install?
- Is it booting to the USB?
- Is the installation procedure starting?
- How far do you get and what happens at that step that stops you proceeding further?

Attached are the photos to erase the doubts from your brow, and correct your assumptions about my BIOS settings.

This is the post I was waiting for. Admonishment by a lazy 5 star general, based on assumptions and old data and then asking questions. Dennis, you are not keeping up with the times.

It was the NavyCMDR who first helped me, and I always use his impeccable instructions. This motherboard and my account were registered with Microsoft with the first installation last summer. Later, this OS version installation key was successfully used on occasions, even on USB keys.

FYI, the tutorials on installation were made in 2021. I am familiar with the old installation prompts and these no longer exist in this week's download. By the way, I also have another French Canada version iso, downloaded at the same time and it has the identical problem.

The BIOS is detecting and recognizing everything. Windows 11 existed on this machine previously, only the SSD failed. I only replaced the SSD.

The ASRock zipped driver file was downloaded and extracted to a USB2 stick. The "Windows11InstallationAssistant.exe" file was also downloaded to the same stick, but there is no Windows OS to extract the drivers from an .exe file.

I will post the BIOS settings to the appropriate question. Now to the next post in order.

I will add this....you more than likely DO NOT NEED the IRST drivers to install the OS. See my post here: Are IRST drivers really required?

I know many might disagree with this but in my experience, as mentioned in the linked post, it's not needed. If the install is asking for it turn it off in the bios/UEFI.

    I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
Whether by the OP or the mods, I see most of the harsher insults from this poster have been deleted or altered. Kinda like closing the barn door after the cows get out. The damage is already done. Folks don't forget. ( if the mods choose to delete this post stating my opinion, so be it. I don't disagree. It asks for the driver regardless. The attached installation image is from the forum instructions. I get the BEFORE image but the next step tells me that the driver is missing.

AFAIK if you change the SATA mode in BIOS to AHCI (not RAID), then Windows setup should not complain about failing to recognize/detect and install the RST driver package from the USB stick. As you probably know, though, the RST driver should preferrably not be installed unless you're going to use specific features that only the RST can provide (i.e., acceleration with Intel Optane memory products, RAID 0/1/5/10 support, and Intel VMD support on Intel 11th Gen platforms).

As for needing to install a separate USB driver just to be able to get the board to detect a simple USB stick that presents itself as a USB mass storage device (which, as you also probably know, not all USB sticks do), nothing is impossible I guess. But, on Windows 10 onwards, even USB Type-C is natively supported by the OS whereas USB 3.0 (aka USB 3.1 Gen 1 aka USB 3.2 Gen 1×1) is natively supported by the OS since Windows 8 which came out more than 11 years ago so... Windows 11 setup asking for a USB driver simply because else it cannot read anything from the stick? That would be a very neat trick from Microsoft indeed, albeit I've been dealing with Microsoft for 39 years too so, I've watched them do tricks like that on more than a few occasions in the past enough to know the logical relationship between tricks and them. So yea.. who knows.. lol
