I have searched, and found this:

I scrolled down a little to "How to Disable the Password Option in Windows 11" where it has a few steps. I get to #4 - "Check the option that indicates Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

But no such entry exists.

Then I found this:

But the first entry under addtl settings - "for improved security" is greyed out and I cant turn it off.

What am I missing?

Now uncheck the box writing Users must enter a username and password to use this computer.

After you click Apply, you will be asked for the password to validate the change, enter your email login password.

Ok, how do you paste into a cmd prompt? In W7, you r-click, and select "paste". That option is gone in W11? How to do it?

When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Pasting is easy right-click to paste the content of the clipboard to Command Prompt.

You just helped me again. The PC I'm setting up didn't have the password checkbox untl I added the registry key.
