i did the first method but after restarting pc, it again prompted me for the PIN.

Just to verify, when you set up netplwiz, did you enter the password (not PIN) for the selected account you want signed into automatically at startup?

previously i used netplwiz and didnt enter anything.just unchecked the option to reqire password prompt.
