how to remove the add bar in yahoo

does anyone know how to remove that white bar in yahoo basic mail that shows at the bottom of the mail pain? i tried ublock and then it turn blue that is as bad.

i have adb ghostry malwarebytes popup blocker privacy blocker and ublock origin and i use firefox for a browser, and they are not removing it. if there is a better browser i may try i was doing chrome but it took away ublock and about half the items i had blocked came back. and last month i had to do a complete pc reset from esb win10 and let the pc go to win11 because the pc started running real slow and doing built in reset did not even run. so i lost all the passwords but i did have backups to get everything else back

so now maybe i do not need all of these so if not tell me what ones i should use and the ones to turn off or unistall?

anyway if there is a better mail app that i can run that show the mail and no add that runs in wim11 i can try that. i have gmail but that mail page is about a bad as yahoo it is a bit confusing. but i use yahoo for 99% of mail reading so i really do not want to change my email to gmail. i did try one time sending my yahoo to gmail but then i get gmailon to and yahoo on the bottom and again confusing.

so if i can't remove that white bar i think it is an add bar then maybe a generic mail app may be better and just shows email and maybe i can get contact into it if now i guess i can just add them if i like that mail app.

do you have basic yahoo email?
can you tell me if all those extensions i have are really needed?
ublock origin i know is needed but maybe malwarebytes pop up blocker privacy badger ghostry or i don't care about cookies i can do away with one or all of these.

You don't use Yahoo! Basic Mail. Like me, you use the New Yahoo Mail.

I can't even switch to Basic Mail any more, the furthest I can go back is the Old Yahoo Mail. That too does have the email adverts at the bottom though. As far as I am aware there never was a way to remove them.

Basic web mail, as far as I know.

Dunno..., disable them one at a time and see what happens.

You may have the basic free Yahoo Mail, but you are NOT using the Basic Mail web page. That's the New Yahoo Mail page in your screenshot.

you may be correct so i went into yahoo again and switched to the old mail and now the right side gives me a message now that firefox can't connect. that is where the contacts used to be.

so i just turned off every extension i have on fire fox. and the contacts did not return. they used to be over on the right side but now i do not have that white box at the bottom but also the email has change some. i used to be able to just scroll all the way to the last email now it looks like i have to click an arrow to get to the next page but maybe in setting i can remove that and go back to scrolling to the last email.

but not to also get the contact back. i did go in and clear the cashe and all the history for all time so now i will have to enter info for site until they get saved.
oh! i see contact they are now on the top left side. that is fine. and i guess i will get use to the page thing kind of like gmail. what a mess just to get rid of that box that took up half of the screen.

so now that i got that bottom box gone and i think i can live with what now may be the basic mail can you tell me what extenions i really need?

oh! when i turned on ublock that message on the right side of the email went away so ublock turned that off.
