Thanks @Bree. Will give it a try when I have some spare time as I get all these free AutomationDirect dot com Catalogs on a USB Flash Drives all the time in snail mail.

I got it only if the flash drive is set to USB 2.0, although the flash drive itself is 3.0
Maybe only for the Phison firmware.

EDIT: If you really need to script this, let me know. I can do it, just don't want to spend the time if not necessary. After all, how often are you likely to need this? I would submit that it is easier to do this manually.

I've tried this. It says it has completed. I run again, and it still says "yes" for read only. I know this is an old post, but I hope someone has some help. I'm unable to format it. It shows as RAW
