I use the voice to text a lot and then once it displays the word or even the entire sentence I just spoke, I want it to stop, so I hit the ESC button to stop input recording so that it doesn't keep recording, or I hit the X button on the microphone box, and then it immediately deletes the entire sentence I just spoke out. How do I prevent this?

Otherwise I have to just sit there for like 4 seconds before stopping the microphone each time.

Heres another of a full sentence being deleted:

Here's a demo (sometimes happened sometimes didnt:

give it a few seconds to initialize after you click to start listening. when done press Win+H again to close that without losing what was typed

ok So I guess it's just a matter of the button I press afterwards or the way I stop it. Windows key plus H takes too long (lol) as I often have to look down and bend my hand to use two fingers and reach both buttons at the same time, that's why I would just hit the esc button or the X on the pop up window.

But It Appears hitting the space bar Is an alternative to get it to stop input without deleting what you just said. will have to test it more.

if you want an autohotkey (ahk) script compiled into an exe that will just run in your tray and trigger Win+H when you click the wheel and stop listening when clicked again, i've attached it. then you can do it all one handed....

Thanks that seems to work for pressing the blue Mic button. Esc key or pressing "x" still deletes the input, but this will be simple enough

if you click the middle wheel again after talking, it will send the press of the mic button for you. that way you only have to use your mouse button.. no extra effort for inputs required
