I use Chrome as my main browser and lately I get the a CAPTCHA that says

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?"

I searched for years for a good browser cleaner wihout luck. PLEASE: don't send me suggtions for cleaners. I have tried every one wiithout luck. I just mentioned this to let anyone that reads my post will know I already looked at most if not all browser cleaners. The only one that works well and is easy to use is built into Chrome. when I am done using Chrome I just press Ctrl and Shiftat the same time and then press Del and a windows opens that asks me what to delete, I chose all broswering data.

I also use a VPN at times I assume that Chrome is making me use the CAPTCHA due to the browser cleaning the VPN.

Is there a way stop the CAPTCHA in Chrome even though I will still clean my browser data and VPN at times.

That can trigger the CAPTCHA.

If your ISP issued you a new public IP address that was abused by the previous user, that can as well.

Sharing an IP address with many other users on a VPN can look like a bot to Google. Turn off your VPN or switch to a different server location to see if the warning stops.

Check your browser extensions. Certain third-party add-ons running in the background send rapid background requests.

Thanks for your reply, I had thought could be my VPN so I contacted the VPN provider to see if they have any suggestions. When you mentioned many people using the same IP address, I had not thought of that I only thought my VPN could be the issue. My VPN provider offers a dedacated IP would that help?

The abused public IP address scenario is an even bigger problem when using a VPN, since multiple people use the same one as you.

You are already helping yourself by deleting all browser data.

Sometimes, switching to a VPN server that is less busy can be helpful, since high traffic from a single IP can trigger a CAPTCHA.

Google dont like VPN's as it effects the meta-data for ads and geolocation tracking.
Sometimes it is to do bad users on the same VPN exit-node IP is doing things that google dont like. but primary.. its bad for meta-data collection and soon it will be labeled as age-verification workarounds so they protect their(google) platforms.
So contacting your VPN provider will most likely not help.

I use Firefox and i dont use Google search engine, and i have no problems running VPN 24/7-365

It's not generally a browser issue...it's the VPN shared public ID address, server location, data volume from the VPN server, etc.

That said, how a browser works with the VPN can.

Browser Factors That Make CAPTCHAs Worse

  • Heavy Privacy Extensions: If you use strict ad-blockers, tracker-blockers, or extensions that spoof your user-agent, websites cannot verify your browser's legitimacy. Combined with a VPN IP, this triggers an immediate CAPTCHA.
  • Incognito / Private Browsing: Incognito mode clears cookies. Websites rely on tracking cookies to know you are a real human who has visited before. Without them, you look like a brand-new automated bot.
  • Canvas Defender / Fingerprint Protection: Some modern browsers (like Brave or Firefox with strict settings) scramble your digital fingerprint. Security networks like Cloudflare often view this intentional data corruption as a sign of a automated scraping tool.
  • Outdated Browser Version: If your browser hasn't been updated, it might lack modern security tokens, making it look suspicious to web servers.

okay so you have the same issue on both Crome and Firefox.. Then it does sounds as it can be a blacklisted IP.
You can visit https://www.ip-tracker.org/ with your VPN on and then scroll down and see if the IP is black listed.. also IP Blacklist Check - Email/Domain/IP Blacklist Checker can be used to look for blacklisted IP's (but you have to enter your IP manually)

Edit:
some websites do not like to have several tabs open at the same time.. so the question is if its a specific site or all websites.
here on elevenforum i can have a lot of tabs open in the same browser window at the same time.
So then is the question.. can you do the same here?

My phone did that recently in incognito mode. If I directly opened a page in an incognito tab and then searched, it was fine. I rebooted and everything was fine again.

How to Test If It's Your Browser

  1. Try a Different Browser: If you normally use Chrome, open the website in Edge, Firefox, or Safari while keeping your VPN connected.
  2. Disable Extensions: Temporarily turn off all extensions—especially ad-blockers or privacy tools—to see if the CAPTCHAs stop.
  3. Log into Google: If you are using Chrome or visiting a site that uses Google's reCAPTCHA, logging into a Google account in that browser drastically reduces CAPTCHAs. Google trusts your logged-in session history

You should have the info you need to understand and work with the issue.
