have couple Identical computers and do mean Identical but found that one is running slower than the others especially when backing up to the same computer but different SSD drives

My other computers are reading and writing at: I/O Performance: Read 3.1 Gb/s - Write 2.4 Gb/s which is great everything works well but another HP Envy Desktop i7 with 32 gigs ram and 500 gig SSD PCIe drive and its slow it’s I/O Performance: Read 152.6 Mb/s - Write 2.9 Gb/s

What could be the problem I checked the memory, SSD drives, ran all the utility’s crystal disk, scan disk, to make sure it to par but still slow ? Ideals?

A few things come to mind
  • Malware
  • Check out procexp (a better task manager) to review other processes that may be using a lot of hardware resources (CPU, I/O, memory disk etc)
  • A heat issue can cause the system to throttle down to protect itself
  • Power management settings (these can also cause hidden throttling)

Try running HD Tune, its free, on both PC's to see if the disk performance is significantly different.
