Hey all - I'm a bit confused, as per the topic title.

I've created a quick gif to explain what I mean - any help would be much appreciated!Animation.gif

SOLUTION:

So after looking my C drive was MBR - I converted to GPT and that has fixed the problem!

Thanks again all for your help and suggestions, what a great forum!

I didn't have to do that to mine and I did a clean instillation of 11 and update to 11 from 10

Think it's a motherboard issue, Asus PRIME B350-PLUS which didn't have a bios update. Enabling in the bios doesn't switch it on that has to be done in Windows by enabling core isolation.

I'm using the Asus Prime B350M-E and there was an update for the Bios available from Asus. But otherwise you are correct.. I didn't opt to turn that on.

Thanks for the replies - yes secure boot is on and I've also turned on the visualization in the bios too - same result.

Thought perhaps that my installation drive needed more space, but that hasn't helped either.

Mmmhh, not sure what to do now!

Random thoughts:
Is Win 10 fully up to date? I can't imagine that would be an issue but you never know.
There was a very recent AMD Chipset driver update for Win11.

Better be safe and check the MBR/GPT status. The app never stated GPT partition scheme is enabled. This makes me believe it does not actually check this.

Hey all - I'm a bit confused, as per the topic title.
Is your C:\ drive a MBR or GPT drive?
Pretty sure it fails the Health check if set to MBR.

There is a subtle difference between the PC Health Check's tests and those performed by the installer.

PC Health Check only checks that the PC hardware meets all the requirements. It only confirms that the PC could run Windows 11, not that the current install of Windows is capable of being upgraded. Technically PC Health check is correct in saying that a PC with an MBR install does meet all the Windows 11 system requirements. It's just that you'd have to do a clean install to get Windows 11.

This is almost certainly why the installer says this machine doesn't meet minimum requirements, only a GPT install can be upgraded.

If this is the case for rgronow's installed Windows 10, then it is possible to convert a Legacy/MBR install to a UEFI/GPT one. This would allow the upgrade to 11 to take place.

You all did it! Thanks all!

So after looking my C drive was MBR - I converted to GPT and that has fixed the problem!

I feel this will be useful for others too so I'll add the solution to my original post.

Thanks again all, what a great forum.
