I have a similar issue with my HP envy I made a post about. It won't let me use that menu just task manager. I've attached all I can see.

It just comes up with an error saying it couldn't find the value.
Did you try everything given there? Was your PC restarted?

Unfortunately, this is the only option to solve the problem (AFAIK)

Try running cmd as admin. (While typing cmd, check the box that says Create this task with administrative privileges

Also, I don't think resetting default apps will work.

Open Settings --> App --> Default Apps and click Reset all default apps.

When I typed no it restarted but of course nothing happened. I've tried it again and it still doesn't work.

NVM I'm dumb my processor is a 1065g7 not an 1165g7. I think I got the char mixed up when I was checking it earlier I'm going to look up a command line for going back to windows 10 my bad everyone hopefully this solves sensei's problem though

Try booting the PC from safe mode and performing the registry commands.

Turn off the PC.
Turn it on.
When you see the spinning dots, immediately hold down the power button for 5 seconds.
Do this more 2 times. On the 3rd time, you will see a blue/black screen.
Press F8 and after some time, press the indicated key to enter Safe mode with command prompt
In the cmd, type the command.

I assure you that this problem wasn't caused by your CPU not being compatible. My PC is 100% compatible and, after running W11 for some time now,I had the same problem when W11 updated to the latest build.I tried a fresh install of W11.During the install,it updated to the latest build and I had the same issue.

To get W11 to work again I installed W10(not required if W11 is running right and not yet updated). Before updating to W11,I turned off set time automatically, turned off adjust for DLST automatically and turned off set time zone automatically.I don't know which one,two or if all three are required but the latest build is installed and running perfect.

Hi, since the thread got hijacked, I thought I'd check in.

Did you end up fixing your issue? Your issue sounds different from the bug with the new builds from Thursday, I don't recall seeing anyone mention anything about apps not being associated.

Freebooter responded to your issue with this post, see if that helped, if you're still having issues.

Open Settings --> App --> Default Apps and click Reset all default apps.

I'm having the same problem as well. damn

Is your problem exactly lie ERODITOR, with the lost file associations and such, too? Or just no start no taskbar and running slow?
