Windows 10 LTSC
Hello, new to the forums. I'm having trouble installing W11 on my PC.

Ryzen 7 3800x
Asus Rog Strix B550-F - Latest bios flashed. This flash is supposed to fix it so W11 can run on this MB.
32GB DDR4

TPM enabled, Secure Boot enabled but still get This PC can't run W11.

Even PC Health Check says my PC can run W11.

Regards

Oh sorry, my bad.
Is your hard drive formatted to GPT?
Actually it is. Could that be the problem? But I can't even install W11 in VMware or VBox.

No, GPT disk is exactly what you need. I am just about to upgrade this laptop to Windows 11 using the ISO directly.
I'll get back to you... :)

are you trying to dual boot on the same hard disk? Because depending on your troubleshooting skills, it is not highly recommended. Use a separate hard drive and disconnect Windows 10 first.

Go here:

Scroll down till you see: "Assets"
Download WhyNotWin11.exe and save it to your desktop.

Then double click to run the program. Wait till it finishes, then post a screenshot of the results.

It should look something like this...

GitHub tool Results.png

As for your BIOS settings... I went to your motherboard's website and downloaded the motherboard manual.
Unfortunately, ASUS cheaped out and there is no BIOS settings in your manual.

I have a similar ASUS motherboard with an x570 chipset, so maybe these pages from my manual will help.
This is how I have my BIOS set, and Win 11 installed no problem...

As mentioned above, the SSD you are installing Windows 11 to... has to set as a GPT disk.

For the Boot Device Control, you can choose either UEFI or UEFI and Legacy. Either one will work.

I've dual booted many times, windows and linux. My boot is UEFI and Legacy and in GPT. IDK, I might just wait until they sort things out. My W10 is running perfect rn. Thanks for all the replies.

If your Win 10 is running tight and clean, you could just make a full backup of Win 10, then do an In-Place Upgrade to the installed Windows 10. Then, if you like Win 11, you're good to go and if you don't you can just restore Win 10 from the backup.

That's what I did. Only difference, was I made the backup of Win 10, then restored it to a 2nd SSD, which I then upgraded to Win 11.
So now I have one SSD with Win 10, and another with Win 11.

Having done it so many times does not mean it is still a good idea. Every time there is an update, your boot manager will keep getting messed up. I've also done it so many times until I decided it is enough and assigned individual SSD on each OS on my test machine.
I just insert the disk I want to run and pull out the rest.

My upgrade a while ago just went smooth and lasted for only 37 minutes. Everything is running good even my Serato Pro software.

You may want to try installing Windows 11 on its own (pull out the W10 hard drive) and see if that will fix something.

@badrobot

Are those 5.25" dual bay drive mounts? Are they hot swap?

You have a link for them?
My case has 6x 5.25" bays. :)
Not sure if you can still find them in local stores. I've had these for more than 5 years now I think. But here's a link from eBay. It is still about the same price as I got them before.
