Installing Microsoft 365 on another drive

Hey guys. is there any new and safe method for installing O365 (Retail) on D Drive? found a way using mklink method. is it still working?

I have never had proper success with junction links. They break to easily after updates.

Also, if (as you should) , you make image backups of C drive, you also have to backup D drive to backup office installation.

In rhe end, Office is too ingrained for use on C drive. It is just not worth the effort changing it.
