5 generations of Intel? That is quite a number. 3 generations of official Windows 11 supported Intel processors (8-10) is still quite a number.

DCH and UHD are not related. just means the user interface is via Microsoft. UHD is just a branding name for Intel integrated graphics.
DCH is a Microsoft driver standard for Windows 10 and 11. You will mainly see that any configuration utility associated with the driver is a Windows store app.

tldr it does apply to your integrated graphics, if you use that.

Everything is moving to DCH on Windows. You can't get updated Nvidia geForce drivers that are not DCH anymore. So as taking that as an example. the nvidia control panel is a Windows app now.

better update it manually. Intel Device manager let me down too. Actually uninstalled it few months ago..

It worked a treat @AndreTen all installed. Now if I check with the the online driver support assistant it is all showing correct

I got it all sorted and installed but I certainly never noticed any difference at all. except now Intel driver support assistant is working and detecting things correctly
