Hi!
My Asus NUC 16 updated the BIOS via Windows Update, from version 0037 to 0039.

Since it was connected to the monitor using a USB-C → DisplayPort cable, during the update I received the following message:

WARNING: In order for the Intel Thunderbolt retimer firmware to be upgraded, the display must be connected using the DisplayPort or HDMI port.
The Intel Thunderbolt retimer firmware update has been cancelled.

The BIOS is now updated to version 0039, but how can I update the Intel Thunderbolt retimer firmware?

If I connect the NUC to the monitor using an HDMI → HDMI cable and manually update the BIOS (F7 at startup) to the latest available version, 0041, will the Intel Thunderbolt retimer firmware also be updated?

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks!
Best regards.
