Is anyone else having problems with Microsoft store this morning?

I couldn't get it to check for updates and updates if needed.
I tried reset the store, run all 3 dism commands, and ran sfc /scan.
all looks good but still nothing.

This has been reported and known to happen from time to time.
It might be tied up to your location and the US servers the store is trying to connect to.
It usually resolves itself within hours.
It could be tied to maintenance as well; since MS acquired GitHub , I read that MS has been trying to
combine all their scattered update infrastructure to a more centralized one.
I have not found any new developments recently, so who knows.

More than likely a temporary regional issue (local severs exceeding their maximum bandwidth or more rarely an outage - if not more common if this happens more often).

From the Azure status page, it appears most of the outage has been resolved. They lost power to a key data center for US-West region, and took a while to restore service and redirect traffic to other datacenters.

Earlier today, I got the error code 0x80860010, which says too many login attempts when logging in. After a restart, that error seems to have disappeared and the MS store seems to be working fine now.

Power outage affecting Microsoft Store app installs and Windows update delivery
A power outage at a datacenter is impacting customers’ ability to complete operations in the Microsoft Store and Windows Update. As a result, some users may experience failures or timeouts when installing or updating Microsoft Store apps, or when downloading Windows updates.

Although power has been restored, service recovery is still in progress. Storage services are gradually returning online, and some customer impact may continue while recovery completes.

Microsoft is actively working to restore full-service reliability. Customers who are affected are advised to retry Microsoft Store and Windows Update operations later. We will provide more information as it becomes available

The Store tries to open, then gives 'Sorry about that! Something went wrong and Microsoft Store failed to initialize. Try refreshing or come back later.

It has been happening for the last couple of days. I'm in Cape Town, South Africa.

I would go the Settings - system - Recovery - Fix problems using Windows Update route.
