Is There A Compatibility Mode? I Have A Program That Requires Internet Explorer

Microsoft Windows 11 Professional (x64) Build 22621.963
I use a auto service manual that requires IE but unlike Win10 I cannot make it happen on Win11.
To open it requires a .bat file be executed.

The software maker does not support it past IE. Is there anything I can do to get edge from interfering? Loathing Edge.

I don't use Chrome or Internet Explorer, but this should work, I think...

And for EDGE...

If the above suggestion doesn't work for your requirements, You might consider running a Windows 7 virtual machine.

Thanks, Tried the chrome and could not get the extension to show on the tool bar. Cannot get File menu so I can drill to a bat file I need it to start. Chrome to me is like a pair of hand cuffs. But thanks. I just need to spend more time with it.

I have tried the IE in edge and it keeps opening everything in Edge. Edge to me is a software being strong armed onto consumers "but hey" if they would let me open my ware it could soften my opinion for them.

Virtual Machine is my next try, I'll let you guys know.

I want the Service manual to work for my ride.
