Solved Is there way to permanently disable "make a pin" nag?

Seems to me the easy fix is to set up a pin. You don't have to use it if you don't want to but at least it will stop the notifications.

f a pin makes my PC more secure than a long password, why would I want to use a password?
Security has never been a major concern for me. I have more doubt about the TPM itself. If it gets hacked or stolen, there's nothing on it of any value to anyone, no passwords as I use a cloud password manager, and a bunch of junk mail. I have many backups for recovery and a second system to fall back on.
I actually missed netplwiz'ing my login to bypass having to manually put in a password and couldn't do that with a pin set up. Then when I saw there could potentially be a problem at some point with TPM, that just made my mind up to get rid of Windows Hello. Maybe in the future I'll feel more comfortable using it once it's a proven technology.
But I respect anyone's view that differs from mine so if one does have concerns about security, then a pin is definitely the way to go.

Well, my BIOS update ordeal certainly hasn't scared me away from TPM and Windows Hello. If nothing else, it's given me a better understanding of how things work.

Anyway, I'm still using Windows Hello facial rec, with a pin as my backup. No fears here. Also, no fears of doing BIOS updates :)
