it is not possible to add an Outlook email account to the settings of the iPhone 6s.
outlook email app also can't add an Outlook account to Outlook email app on iPhone 6.
plz help

I strongly suggest that you delete that video. It shows private information that you so not want anyone to know. I know it would be more trouble, but screenshots with the private info blacked out would be better for your safety

You’re adding it via exchange.
Add it through “Outlook.com” at the bottom of the options, Not “exchange” just to see if it works.

There are a possibly quite a few reasons why this may be happening. But you might consider that;

- Your systems admin at work may need to be contacted, perhaps your password was reset?

- You have shown this video before and someone has compromised your account due to the personal info that is Included in the video

And as @glasskuter said, you seriously need to ask admin to remove, or remove that video yourself, as you’re a VIP you have edit options.

Then change your password, really quickly.

when one clicks the outlook.com button, something quickly appears and disappears. then the phone gives the message, unable to verify account information.
it is still not adding Outlook email accounts to the settings of the iPhone 6s.

gaffer do you backup your phone with iTunes?
Have you checked for IOS updates in the iPhones settings?

You may need an app specific password if you’re using the inbuilt email app. The outlook app should work though.
Do you have any adblocking or VPN app installed?

iOS can't install updates beyond 12.5.7
i think it is backed up with iTunes.
by backup what do you mean? Do you mean backup settings or backup data or both simultaneously?

@Bastet i am not using vpn.
i am adding outlook email account in the settings of mobile.
further, I have installed outlook app in mobile. and it is also not adding any outlook email accounts.it adds gmail and yahoo account successfully.

Do you plug it into iTunes?
When you use iTunes, you can set it to backup and sync to a local drive.

If you password protect (encrypt) that backup, it saves everything, iMessages apps, settings and all, passwords too I believe.

The reason I ask, is because you can reset/wipe the phone and then restore a backup. This sometimes fixes issues with an iPhone. I can’t assure you though, that this would fix it.
I would consider joining or at least try searching the Apple forum?

I’ve added my Hotmail account successfully on my iPad & iPhones but had to use an app specific password.

What forum, what userbname did you have? I want to see if the video is still there or if they were good enough to remove it. Seriously, change your password, and enable 2FA

I have every iDevice possible, some of them twice. I have never had to do that with any type of Microsoft email account, not even my Live or Hotmail accounts
This is new to me, Ive not heard of it before.

@antspants I believe an app specific password only applies if the email client doesn’t support OAuth 2.0. The most recent iDevices may support this but my old devices required the app password.
I also use 2 fa on my accounts.
