I installed kaspersky total last year on my old laptop. I first installed it and was going to use the 30 day free trial and also had to enter my credit card information so if I want to continue using kasperky total after 30 days, then I don't do nothing. But I would also have the option to cancel within 30 days so my credit card would not get deducted. Now when I installed kaspersky total, I did this while I was in the US. I then continued using kaspersky total.

At the moment, my kaspersky total is going to expire pretty soon. I do not want to renew it through kaspersky total because they are charging over $100 for it which is very expensive. Now at the moment I'm outside the US. I do see that I could buy kaspersky total for $20 or so on amazon.com US. Has anyone here done this and this is the same thing or similar to doing it through kaspersky? I mean that is a huge price difference with $20 vs $100. I do not want to pay $100 to renew it.

There is no issue with me using my US credit card while abroad as I used it many times before even ordering off amazon.com US while I'm outside the US when ordering this right? My question now is... can I order kaspersky total... and then enter the code into my kaspersky total account now since I'm outside the US or will there be any issue? Do I have to wait till my kaspersky total officially expires before I enter that code? I believe after you order kaspersky total, you will be sent the code to your amazon account? I also believe kaspersky total is different depending on what country you are located in? Has anyone ordered kaspersky total through amazon.com US and renewed it while abroad?

Now is the time to switch. Bitdefender seems to have the best record, but I use Webroot. I normally look on eBay and buy a keycode from a seller with a good record. Webroot have suggested I buy from an authorised seller but they do give me full and excellent technical support.
Kaspersky could easily fall under Putin's control because many rich oligarchs have had their businesses taken away.

Online keys are problematic, they can be locked to a region, to a specific version and to the number of devices.
Either way you are always taking a risk that it might not work or that it might stop working within the year.
You reallly should upgrade your licences during Black Friday. Try a cheaper AV, like Bitdefender or Norton.

For the individual i feel it’s safe. Understand with war in Ukraine and cutting ties with Russia , but bit paranoid.
Used Kaspersky for years great Anti-Virus no issues at all. PC Mag articles even tells how is has always scored well. But can trust some CD Key sites with good reputation for licenses or as said eBay sellers.

Okay i understand he is a tyrant, but just because of one doesn’t make all Russians bad. Kaspersky has headquarters all over as many Anti-Virus companies do nowadays. To each his own i get your thoughts.

Agreed. But if we buy Russian products we are adding to Russia's economy. I think poor old Eugene is probably OK. But what if Putin made him an offer he couldn't refuse? Kaspersky is riskier than LastPass! 😂

As said to each his own i get anti-virus similar to way you do, so my little amount once a year is no concern to me.
As for thread starter would never pay $100. Dollars for any AV.

If you're going to waste your money, on something you probably don't even need, why not waste it here in the good ol' USA?
But, I'm just curious....what virus are you trying to prevent?
Years ago, I knew the name of most of the current viruses, but now for several years, I've not heard of a single one.
And, just for fun, I do still use Windows Defender, and Super Anti Spyware, to keep my PC clean and safe from Tracking Cookies, that can be a real security problem. Do you even remove those? Many people don't! One of my customers had 140,000 tracking cookies stacked up on their HD. Super Anti Spyware (FREE) removed all of them.

And if I were going to waste my money on an AV program, it would certainly NOT be one from a company that could be under the control of the Russian Mafia. Oh, you forgot about them? I haven't!

I had a small fortune in a bank in Riga Latvia, I even had a Debit Card, and the Russian Mafia went in and took all of it.

Putin is only one bad apple in Russia. Remove him and it would make little to no difference at all.

Happy New Year Mate!

So kaspersky total on amazon price dropped down to $25 now. It is normally $100 and when it was on sale last time it was $20.

Now would you say this is still worth it? Again I paid $60+tax last time for it. And this time, I did not feel like paying $100+tax for it but there is a discount that makes it $60+tax but is that too much?

The main question I have here is... if I purchase kaspersky total on Amazon US... I can activate it while I am outside the US where I am now right? I believe it has to do with which kaspersky you downloaded on your laptop and not your physical location? Anyone can confirm this?

Kaspersky free, how is it compared to kaspersky total?

The reason why I want internet protection is just in case as I don't think windows defender is good enough if say you click on some link?

Has anyone heard of this site? Someone sent me this link and it is a cheaper price. But amazon us is the best option if the price is 25 dollars?

Need to make sure either says global or country you’re in that will activate as far as i know. Place you listed had some decent reseller reviews but being in U.S. not familiar.

tried them before no issues see what activation says for you
Kinguin
Take a chance with these real cheap
Ebay
Place you can use PayPal not just credit cards.
Or just google Kaspersky Total Security 2023 cd key

So I am planning to order kaspersky total from amazon usa site. Now do I have to make sure the kaspersky total I have installed currently on my laptop is kaspersky total USA region? How would I find this out? I am pretty sure it is because I had kaspersky total installed while I was in the US.

So it doesn't matter where I am located now right? Just as long as the kaspersky total in my laptop is USA region, then it is fine?

I am currently out of the US now so want to make sure I can order kaspersky total from amazon US site and then activate the code while outside the US. It should work fine? I want to know has anyone here bought kaspersky total and activated it while outside the US with kaspersky already installed on their laptop but their subscription was expiring and want to renew?

It might be better to ask Kaspersky. At least you will get an authoritative answer.
