Hello Windows Insiders, today we are releasing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1755 and Build 22624.1755 (KB5026438) to the Beta Channel.
  • Build 22624.1755 = New features rolling out.
  • Build 22621.1755 = New features off by default.

KB5023595 Enablement Package for Windows 11 22H2 build 22624.xxx


REMINDER: Insiders who were previously on Build 22623 will automatically get moved to Build 22624 via an enablement package. The enablement package artificially increments the build number for the update with new features getting rolled out and turned on to make it easier to differentiate from devices with the update with features off by default. This approach is being used for the Beta Channel only and is not indicative of any changes or plans for final feature rollouts.

Insiders who landed in the group with new features turned off by default (Build 22621.xxxx) can check for updates and choose to install the update that will have features rolling out (Build 22624.xxxx).

  • Settings should no longer crash when attempting to uninstall an app while using grid view.

[Input]​

  • Fixed an issue where the Pinyin IME’s insert text button wasn’t displaying correctly in some cases.

  • This update addresses a race condition in Windows Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS). The Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) might stop responding. This occurs when the system processes multiple local account operations at the same time. The access violation error code is 0xc0000005.

Widgets seems to be very buggy ion this version, If I click on the Widgets icon, they will open, but I cannot click on any of them. Then on my second screen the widgets icon looks like it's been selected. If I then click on my main screen, it goes black, and Windows not responding dialog appears, if I click Ignore then Widgets will work again., Re installed Web Experience, did the normal scans, still the same issue

The vulnerability is in all versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11. The guidance on how to apply the Code Integrity Boot Policy refers to the file SKUSiPolicy.p7b which was supplied in the May 9th Patch Tuesday CU.

The Beta Channel also got an update on Patch Tuesday, and now has the required SKUSiPolicy.p7b file. The Canary Channel was last updated on May 4th and doesn't have it (yet).

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

22624.1755 installed OK. Core Isolation/Local Security Authority protection still bugged & perpetually displays the "This change requires you to restart the computer" message in yellow text--but as long as LSA is toggled to "ON," Microsoft says the feature is working as it should and that sometime in the future they'll take care of the bug...;)

    Great New system. Exceeds my expectations by quite a bit, btw. I love the USB G8 SoundBlaster, it's quite an improvement over the G6!
After noticing that the latest update put me back on the non enablement track I went to UUP Dump and noticed that even using the 22624 link still gets me the 22621 files.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

If you do not need remote management with admin privileges (I turn it off unless I need it for something specific and temporary) and you know who has physical access to your machine, I see nothing here to be concerned about. It seems to me that anything at all is possible with physical access to a machine & admin access.

My desktop continued to act weird after the install so I wiped it out and am in the process of putting everything back. It only made it 5 months from the last clean install.

I discovered an issue with the date and time setting in this build. Although my system date and time displayed in the taskbar was correct the date and time in the settings panel was off by several hours and had me on pacific time. When I installed outlook it set itself to pacific time and I couldn't figure out why my reminders were popping up hours too early until tonight.

Also my disney+ app refused to work right and then finally after seeing the setting in Outlook I decided to access the settings panel and when I did the setting was for eastern time but the time displayed at the top was not eastern. I clicked on the sync button and although it generated an error the time corrected at the top. Then I check the system tray and the time was still right and when I tried the disney app it started working correctly.

Date and Time in the settings panel is correct here but I have Set Time Automatically disabled as I am using a tool called Dimension 4 to sync directly with different ntp time servers.

I used to run a 3rd party time sync and I just might go back to one after this.

    Acer will not allow WD Black SN8100 to function in m.2 slot 0 and Crucial T710 ssd's to function in either slot.
I ended up installing Net Time to keep things straight going forward.
