Id say so as the UUP dump doesn't download from the servers

Unable to retrieve data from Windows Update servers. Reason: EMPTY_FILELIST
If this problem persists, most likely the set you are attempting to download was removed from Windows Update servers.

My bad. I just realized I had to join the Insider Release Preview to download this one. I haven't been until now. I read above that it is precisely RP and now it's downloading.👍:giggle:

26H1 has been working awesome on both my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 and Lenovo P3 Ultra.

In the previous build, I was having an issue where the display brightness nor the volume bar was popping up but this update seemed to have fixed the issue!

Hmm, odd indeed. If you're already running 28000, I did mention a few posts up that deskmodder.de has the msu if it's of any interest.

I used the .msu without experiencing any issues. You don't strike me as the timid type. I will admit File Explorer still flashes.

Well, as others suggested, W.U. is downloading and installing the update when I switched to the insider R.P. channel.
I'll just restart now to complete the update. 😊🤷‍♂️

As mentioned in the blog, 26H1 is only meant for new machines with new processors, which I don't have.

Windows 11, version 26H1 is a scoped release​

  • Windows 11, version 26H1 will only be available on new devices with select new silicon as they come to market in early 2026.
  • Windows 11, version 26H1 is not offered as an in-place update from Windows 11, version 24H2 or 25H2 on existing devices.
  • There is no impact to devices already in market today.

At this time, devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon® X2 Series processors will come with Windows 11, version 26H1.
