Reminders for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel​

  • Updates are based on Windows 11, version 25H2 via an enablement package (Build 26220.8575).
  • The desktop watermark shown at the lower right corner of the desktop is normal for Windows Insider pre-release builds.
  • Features and experiences included in these builds may never get released as we try out different concepts and get feedback. Features may change over time, be removed, or replaced and never get released beyond Windows Insiders. Some of these features and experiences could show up in future Windows releases when they're ready.
  • Some features in active development we preview with Windows Insiders may not be fully localized and localization will happen over time as features are finalized. As you see issues with localization in your language, please report those issues to us via Feedback Hub.

So it seems this update has now been pulled and is no longer in Windows Update. It installed on one of my machines which now worries me but failed to install on the other machine and is no longer a WU option.

Edit; looks like I spoke to soon, it just reappeared and is failing again for 0x800f0843 🤷🏽‍♂️

Correct the update will not be pulled. Anyone who did install it should uninstall it immediately and run a restore point, then a chain of commands to fix your STATE system. People who did install it - you will notice large large data logs being sent to Microsoft and the event log will show issues as well. Its being kept in place. If you need the commands just message me

And yes that is my machine, thanks but 26H1 is too experimental for my taste. I was just commenting I prefer to stick to Beta and RP builds.

So back to my question, do you want me to delete the info you gave me? I feel it was relevant to the issues many of us are having getting this build to install. Let me know.
