I haven't tried the Qualcomm chips. So can't say for sure...on mobile Qualcomm WiFi/BT chips are however very impressive. Get really stable and fast connections.

Thats why i was thinking qualcomm but havent found any info if it will work. But it ha HP part number on it

. May play it safe and go for ax210.

That has nothing to do with network, WiFi and BT. Raeltek CoDec chips are ubiquitous and on most motherboards as well independent devices. One of problems is that few years ago Realtek stopped releasing drivers to general public and you can get them only by 3rd party like MB or device manufacturers and MS just Universal sound drivers with very little control over sound. If you want better control of sound, there are 3rd party APPs but most charge for them. Nahimic is free and comes with real Realtek drivers.

Looked at the Nahimic site. It's mainly targeting old chipset in the past like X99, B250, Z170 etc. Nothing on the front of new chipsets like Z690. To bad. The drivers of today lets you control nothing. Something that was beter in the past. Realtek releases now just basic drivers. Nothing more nothing less.

Just noticed that my Laptop wont restart or shutdown properly after this update. Its always stuck on "Shuting down..." or "Restarting...". Anyone else having same issue?

@Thorenzz For what it's worth, my Desktop PC takes roughly 30 seconds to get from Off to Login and 30 from Shutdown to Off, on this build (26220.8754), which I think is way too slow. I didn't see any performance difference to ...8690. My Laptop is on Dev, Home edition 26H2 26300.8758, shuts down in 6 seconds then 10 to get to Login

Had no issue with restart or shutdown on previous build. Startup apps are launching way too slow but that was the case with previous built too. But to top it off, this issue is driving me mad. always stuck on shutting down... or restarting... Cant find the cause of the issue. Hopefully MS will fix it with next build.

On my laptop it takes over 30s to get from cold boot past the UEFI screens to the actual boot menu. What are you people complaining about.

It takes me longer to get thru POST than to boot up to desktop.

Boot up itself its fine but startup apps takes way too long compare to two builds back.

Yes, that's why I keep them at minimum. Adrenalin software for my AMD GPU drivers take longest time.to fully start although drivers are loaded even before desktop shows up. My main PC is on practically 24/7 so I reboot every few days.

I rarely fully shutdown. mostly just hibernate as i am on laptop. But occasionally i do fully reboot, but annoying thing with this latest build is that system always gets stuck on "Restarting..." or "Shutting down..." screen and i have to switch it off hard way.

My Beta which used to be Dev was just a copy of regular windows with already installed programs and settings enrolled in Insider and activated by a spare key @Kari gave me during W10 times. I don't remember how but was set to show boot/startup processes. It lists processes it goes thru during startup, restart or shutdown. It's called "werba-something.

Ok found the culprit. so its hanging on Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management. If i stop the service manually before restart or shutdown everything is fine. ~~So for now i set it to start manually instead of automatic.~~

EDIT: I kept the service on automatic start, but created bat file to quickly disable the service when i go to reboot or shutdown. If anyone has same issue, the bat file should look like this:

It looks like Sysprep with the /generalize option is causing the issue. I'm seeing the same result both on a Hyper-V virtual machine and on physical hardware (tested on three different laptops).

Lets hope MS noticed and will fix it with next build. Doubt it tho.

You can also flip on Verbose Mode easily with Winareo Tweaker. I always leave it enabled as I like to see what is going on during boot up and shut down.

Yes you right. I just dint think of it as i rarely use it. I have it all set up and backup saved.
