keep getting at boot up: select an app to open this .dll system file

after one of the updates, i started to get this after the computer boots up:

Which app is it asking for? If you see this message at bootup, It will be one of the apps in your startup folder that start with Windows.
Right click the Taskbar and choose Task Manager and go to the Startup tab link
Test each of these apps in the Startup folder from your Start Menu to find which app needs to associated with an default, then you can go to Settings/Apps/Default apps. Select the app and associate the files extension to the app, or reinstall the App.
You can also right click an app in the Startup Folder and put a check box next to any or all your apps in the startup folder to Disable and not Start with Windows.
This does not disable the app, it just stops it from starting with Windows, it's other shortcut off the Start button still works.
