Solved Keyboard and OS language issues

Hello. I’ve used an US English keyboard layout on my Italian OS for years without issues.
Recently, however, the system occasionally reverts to the Italian layout on startup.
Strangely, 'English (US)' appears in my taskbar and works, but it’s missing from the languages list in Settings, so I can't set it as the permanent default again.

p.s. oddly enough, this problem started in a period where I've not updating Windows for weeks, so I can exclude it was some update issues.

To manually force a specific keyboard language (keyboard layout), go to Settings, Region and Languages, Keyboard (typing), Advanced keyboard settings and select the desired keyboard language from the list (default is to use the same language as the display language, however this is not very convenient for non-Latin languages such as Greek since all passwords are in Latin)
