Kindly consider removing the "Start Now" requirement for using my phone's screen each time.

The need to manually tap "Start Now" on my phone defeats the purpose of seamless remote access. If I have to physically interact with my device to initiate the session, it diminishes the convenience of using this feature. A more streamlined approach, such as automatic approval or a customizable setting to bypass this step, would significantly enhance user experience and efficiency. This occurs when using the Phone Link app on Supported Samsung Devices to start Screen Sharing.

Sorry, don't understand why you're posting this for the second time.

Yesterday you already called for contribution to the feedback hub here:

Edit: I see, it's a different subject, but you did post the same name for the link. Which I refuse to click on, because it's a shortlink.

Can hardly imagine that this forum is meant to support (repeated) calls for contributions to the feedback hub...

That seems to me not be the purpose of this forum. But as I am no moderator here, I have no decisions to make on that subject. It just seemed to me somewhat strange to use a technical forum to call for support in the Feedback Hub. That's all...

If people were having such issues they'd be being discussed in here or people would report them themselves so no we don't need a vote-broker IMO.

Possibly not. But this forum isn’t really a soapbox either.

It doesn’t read as much of an issue as it does as an annoyance to you personally, to be honest.

I need screenshots of the full process for what is happening and not happening before I understand what all the fuzz is about.

I only enabled PhoneLink, and click on whatever app I want to launch remotely on my PC. No nags, no nothing. It simply just works.

Never would I want to share the whole Phone screen to my PC using PhoneLink. There's a completely different solution for that. One is DeX on PC for Samsung devices and another would be TeamViewer or VNC/RDP servers.

I always thought it was a Samsung security protection...

... apparently, you used to able to disable it in Developer Options, but I don't see it! 🤷‍♂️

Just know that probably 90%+ of the folks on the forum are not insiders, but run release. Not only do we not have the same issues as you, but our feedback hub is not the same as yours so we won't find any feedback you have given in our hub.

I think this may be related to Samsung. My Samsung phone does the same as yours...it needs to be given "permission to start recording or casting with link to Windows."

Just know that probably 90%+ of the folks on the forum are not insiders, but run release. Not only do we not have the same issues as you, but our feedback hub is not the same as yours so we won't find any feedback you have given in our hub.
Why is this so? I thought that people in Windows Insider Forum must be running Insider builds

This is all one forum. Any member can read or respond to any thread in any category. We do have some insider members that are regulars here, but not nearly as many as those who run release build.
