But they can take 24 hours or several weeks to resolve a bug

I don’t know what I did or when I did it, but I broke Edge. For some reason Edge now says “Edge is Managed By Your Organisation”

I have tried removing and reinstalling
Resetting Group Policies

I can’t get rid of that message.
Maybe it doesn’t matter as I rarely use it.

Edge is the only browser I've used for the past 3 years, and I've never seen that message. Do you see the same problem on your other computers?

On my throw about Laptop, it is also managed by my Organization. Which is stranger still as not only has it got bare minimal apps and software on it, I don't really tweak it, only File Explorer really. I think this is the first time I have opened Edge on the laptop, I use Firefox.

Strangely enough, Sync has been disabled on the laptop, again, it says "Your organization has turned off Sync for this device"
It doesn't say that on my Desktop, it says Sync is on.

But like I said, this isn't a big problem. I rarely use Edge.

As soon as a ISO for 24H2 is available, it’s time for me to do a complete new install 🙏

The error at the bottom:

I recall now, I installed MSEdgeRedirect I have a feeling this could be a problem. However I thought I rolled back with an image afterward as I just wanted to try it only, perhaps I didn't roll back at all?

MSEdgeredirect works really well and diverts anything clicked in search results from the Start or Taskbar to your default browser (In my case, Firefox)

BUT:
  • It doesn't appear to be installed (unless it's a portable run once)
  • I didn't install it on my Laptop
Maybe sync synced the settings to my laptop? Although I would of doubted it.

For the past 3 years, Edge has always been set as my default browser. I wonder what your results would be if Edge were set as your default browser.
