This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off Preview Microsoft Edge releases early for your account on Windows 11 Insider builds.
The Microsoft Edge web browser is based on Chromium and was released on January 15, 2020. It is compatible with all supported versions of Windows, and macOS. With speed, performance, best in class compatibility for websites and extensions, and built-in privacy and security features.
It’s never been easier for Windows Insider Program (WIP) members to preview new Microsoft Edge releases. Previously you would have to download separate Microsoft Edge apps to view pre-release Microsoft Edge versions, but now WIP users in the Windows 11 Canary, Beta, and Dev Channels can do this inside the Microsoft Edge (stable) app. This is a great opportunity to validate that things work as expected in your environment. New features ship about every 4 weeks with security and quality updates shipping as needed.
An example of an early preview feature you may get is pin and unpin Copilot side pane.
If you turn on Preview Microsoft Edge releases early for Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Edge (stable) will open as Microsoft Edge Beta or Microsoft Edge Dev.
If you turn off Preview Microsoft Edge releases early for Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Edge (stable) will open as Microsoft Edge (stable) again instead of Microsoft Edge Beta/Dev.

This "Preview Microsoft Edge releases early" feature is being slowly and carefully rolled out to the Windows 11 WIP Canary, Beta, and Dev Channels to ensure the best user experience. Due to this, not all qualifying users will receive the feature at this time.
Here's How:
1 Open Microsoft Edge.
2 Click/tap on the Setting and more (Alt+F) 3 dots button, and click/tap on Settings. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on About Microsoft Edge in the left pane. (see screenshot below step 4)
If you do not see a left pane, then either click/tap on the 3 bars menu button towards the top left OR widen the horizontal borders of the Microsoft Edge window until you do.
4 Turn On (default) or Off Preview Microsoft Edge releases early for what you want. (see screenshot below)
5 If you turned off Preview Microsoft Edge releases early, click/tap on Opt-out to confirm. (see screenshot below)
6 Click/tap on Restart when prompted to switch to either Microsoft Edge Stable (off) or Microsoft Edge Beta/Dev (on). (see screenshots below)
That's it,
