4 identical PCs in our household all running the same Windows 11 24H2 Release Preview and using MS Edge stable. 3 are spinning on the update at level 136.0.3240.92. The wife's PC, which I just checked, immediately updated to 137.0.3286.52. Can't get the others to move though.

EDIT: One is spinning but now on 137.0.3286.52 .....

Finally closed Edge and restarted the PC, and Edge was updated when I opened it after the restart.

Same here - even got a splash screen announcing the update. It's now on the new, latest version .... and still spinning!

The checkmark is a spinning icon when updating. It's hanging for some even though Edge updates. This happened to me until I restarted Edge. It then showed the update.

I wouldn't pay attention to the spinning wheel. It never stops but it does update when there is one available. Also does it on a clean install so don't bother

What I don't understand is that the two PCs spinning have a menu that looks like this -

Whereas the two that are not have a different menu with more options. Both on exactly the same version of Edge (Official) and Windows 11.

This is very odd, and it's a good catch.
Are the W11 systems without the issue insider builds?
This is what I get with the Beta, which is also the same version as the non insider release.
So good luck figuring that out.
