I've found that when it is spininng, just click the back button and then go back to "about Edge" again. It then will have stopped.

I don't get the Back button as it usually is in a new tab, but I tried Refresh and that works.

Not for me it isn't even though it's updated itself.

If I now click on the back button, and then "about Edge" again, it does stop, but it has always done that.
