Linux VM's or Hosts accessing Windows machines (Gui not SSH)

Hi folks

very easy these days - if you install the plasma workspace GUI on your linux machine - then install these 2 packages - freerdp and krdc. Running krdc then gives full screen connection to your Windows machine(s) . You might also need to create an acessinle folder /media on the host as well - in this case the "Host" being either the VM or the "Real Host".

Of course if you want just the windows command line then standard SSH is the way to go.

Note there are other GUI's out there but with wayland / X11 / Xorg things some distros have a problem with this stuff. No need for VNC server or whatever.
