Solved Lock Screen Picture

I seem to have an issue with my lock screen picture. Most of the time it is a picture of the Windows 11 blue waves (or whatever it is) - on very rare occasions it is a photograph from windows spotlight I assume with the widgets for weather, etc.

Ok, it is only a cosmetic problem but what is going on?

Just go to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen... and choose: "Picture"
Then browse to any picture you like, from anywhere on your computer...

If you need a decent pic, I have most of the MS pics on my hard drive.
If you tell me sort of what you want... I can probably find a couple to suit.

But isnt the point of setting it on windows spotlight that you have a different picture on you lock screen every now and then?

But as I'm sure you know... MS keeps playing around with things every update.

I've found that choosing the simpler options, doesn't get fooled around with too much.
The only thing I know about Spotlight, is that it needs an internet connection to work.

I also picked Spotlight a long time ago, but it gets broken so often, I just choose one of my own pics, these days.
When I get tired of one... I choose another.

Spotlight is bug prone which MS haven't fixed to date. I use the Dynamic Theme app instead.

Does it update with a new lock screen picture every now and then, just tried slideshow on the lock screen - no go. Also can i use dynamic with bing desktop, i have bing loaded on my desktop to change the background.
