login issues: one profile won't let me type

one specific profile won't let me type when trying to sign in. i can log into other profiles but not mine. when i'm on the login screen my mouse works perfectly fine, but no letter or number keys work so i cannot enter my password. i can press enter or use other buttons to change my volume or brightness, for example, but the keys i need to sign in don't work. the profile works on other devices, and i've tried to remove and readd the profile with no luck. this is happening on an hp laptop which isn't that old and hasn't had other issues. is there a way to fix this? lmk please!

Why don't you remove user account password from one of the Admin account by removing the login password you login automatically also run Sfc /scannow command.

just tried multiple methods and i cant change or remove my password. it just says "password protected". am i doing something wrong or..

Is it local user account password or Microsoft password?

Also have you tried on-screen keyboard?
