We need additional information. Please re-read your posts from the viewpoint of someone who does not already know what the issue is. We are all still in the dark as to what the problem actually is.
Some examples of information that may allow us to help you:
What operations are you trying to perform on C: that cause you difficulties? Be specific. What kind of errors do these result in. Again, no vague generalities. The precise symptoms or error messages, maybe even screenshots, would be helpful.
it also said I lost my ability to troubleshoot
What does this even mean? Again, pretend that we are not there to see what you mean (because we are not!) and imagine how this sounds.
What is "it"? When "it" said that you lost your ability to troubleshoot, what EXACTLY did "it" say?
The more detail you can provide, the better. My crystal ball is in the shop for repairs so I cannot divine out of thin air with no information what the issue is. Without even understanding the issue, I cannot make a diagnosis.
BTW, I am not trying to sound harsh, I'm just trying to make very clear that we need some details in order to be able to help.
