Those of you who have purchased Phonak Audeo Infinio (inc. Spheres) will be interested to know that Phonak have bought out a new version Infinio Ultras on 22nd October 2025 - just a couple of days ago.
You can upgrade your existing aids to the new features of the Ultra. You will need to contact your audiologist to get them to do this.
I do not know if your audiologists will charge for this but it is apparently only a 7 minute upgrade.
I am going to get my new Infinios next week, and my audiologist has agreed to upgrade for free. This is quite generous as allegedly, the price of the infinios is increasing by 7% across the whole range.
The new Ultras also have a new kind of dome with a wipe clean membrane so you do not have to use replaceable filters but as far as I can ascertain, this does not apply to RIC/earmould hybrids.
Sadly still no BT-LE or auracast update though
