Make mouse border bigger on screen

I have been switching between Windows 10 and Windows 11 on different machines and find the right border for the mouse to be too thin on Windows 11. It just takes that bit longer to actually find and use. I prefer the fatter one on Windows 10, which you can't miss. Is there any way to make the one on Windows 11 fatter? Also to stop it going invisible.

Thanks very much. Can't believe it actually needs registry settings changing! No easier solution. It's probably designed for touch screens but it's one thing I find clunky to use. Along with the start menu.

Download and use Winaero Tweaker. It does a lot of tweaks for you without having to manually edit the Registry.

In the registry use -330 for the size, and in Winaero Tweaker, use 22 for the size.

"It [that size], gives a warm, homey feel to Windows 11. Makes no sense, but that's what it feels like".

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Windows 7 and earlier had wider scroll bars making those in Windows 11 look unfamiliar and sometimes also annoying because it takes a little longer to spot.

It's also difficult to actually co-ordinate the mouse onto the right spot without conscious effort. I like to reserve my conscious effort!
