I'm a little P****d that MS would do a bug bash right after doing two updates to test that the Windows update is working ok. It would make more sense to do the Bug Bash after the next update. IMHO MS wasted my internet data usage.

Do you have a limited amount of data/cap or something?

@Devlin1888 and @JMedlock83, All I know for sure is that I came close to my limit once and I called Comcast and had them drop some channels and increase my internet data. Whatever it is now I haven't had any more warnings since then. I'm sure it's somewhere on my bill if I look.

Oh, I genuinely thought everything/everyone was on unlimited plans, I've never had a data cap before in my life, But i understand you're issue with that then

I'm on Cox and they used to just have unlimited plans, but that stopped several years ago, now you have to buy the unlimited plan for 49.99/month and that's on TOP of the normal month tier bill. So, right now i'm paying $49.99 for 500/250 with 1.25TB plan, so if i wanted the unlimited data, I'd be paying the 49.99, then 49.99 for the unlimited. .

I was paying over $300 a month for cable, internet and phone. I was very upset when I got the warning. Being limited on being able to go out because of Covid we were doing a lot of streaming.

I would like to go with just the internet to save money. The problems are that we need the VOIP because we can't depend on the signal to our cell phones and my wife watches a lot of tv shows we can only get on cable. I'm also don't know how it would affect our internet. Right now we are getting the highest speed offered to us by Comcast and I think we would take a cut in internet speed. With all the devices we use to stream on and all of the devices we use to access the internet I don't want to lose any internet speed. On the bright side I did get the cost below $300 a month.

I added a month to the post. It would be nice if the cost was only $300 a year. :)
