Solved Microphone icon in app that has no voice capabilities
This evening I noticed a microphone icon and I'm guessing a refresh icon in my Warcraft Reforged window. It's never been there before, and Warcraft has no direct way to voice chat, so why is it there?
I have double checked my settings to make sure I have the mic turned off
I rebooted hoping that would clear them, but it didn't.
When I mouse over them, there is nothing, if you look at my screenshots you will see they're not there! I shut down and reopen Warcraft and they're still there.
When I am playing a game I will admit my eyes don't even register this anomaly, however their presence is disconcerting to me, I don't like it

It's an odd one, that's for sure. How old is the game? If it is an old game running on a modern Windows 11 OS it may be a small incompatibility.
You may get better help response if you try posting on sites that specifically support Warcraft Reforged so do a search for those sites.
Good luck.

I had a thought about this. Could it be that the OP is logged into Blizzard's Battlenet whilst playing? That does have microphone capabilities.

I don't know why I didn't think about it earlier, it was NVIDIA, I clicked remove devices from Shield and it's gone. It's odd though because I never turned it on.
