Microsoft 365 access question

Hi i am new to Access app i have setup a database of my book collection and i have a table setup ok
But when i create a from to add more data it opens wide right across the work area and i only want it to open the size of the form.
Also on my table i have a description of the book set to long text but on the form i only get a couple of lines visible
Can someone help please

Sorry no one has answered. I'm not a 365 user myself nor have I ever used Access so my suggestions of things to try are general since I'm flying by the seat of my pants .
Like with any app, you can resize the Access window to any size you want by dragging its edges. Windows will remember that size and open Access to that size every time unless you resize it.

When you create your table, once a field is created, as with other windows, at the top on the ID bar, hover your mouse over that field's divider bar. It should turn into a double ended arrow. Drag it to increase the amount of characters in that particular field so that the field is large enough to see your complete book description.

This is probably one of those you'll have to create a video to get someone to get what your issues is.

I'm afraid my Access skills aren't where they used to be as I've not used the app in ages. I have it, have a Database I created for my music collection, but haven't touched it in years.

Anyway, perhaps you can look elsewhere online. Perhaps some .edu (education) sites?
