It seems MS wants us all to login using MS account information rather than local accounts.

I have 3 computers. One new HP Laptop with Win 11 and two old machines running WIn10. Everything seems to be working just fine on all three. I've always used a local account to sign into my computers. Recently when setting up the new laptop I used Brink's suggestion how to start with a local account (using fake info on the OOBE setup). After setting it up, I logged into the MS Store to download Acrobat Reader and now my user account is suddently a MS account when I log in with the fingerprint reader on the laptop. One of my Win10 machines somehow is now also logged in with my MS account and it seems to have sync'd all the website passwords to the new laptop as well.

Before I switch to using MS account on my other Win10 machine which is a desktop and is my main computer, what do you experts recommend. Note that this machine has more favorites and data files than the other machines. Stick to local accounts or start using MS account user login? Thanks
