What is the security risk of having Edge remember your contact info and credit card numbers to automatically fill in forms ?

The risk is the same as with any browser. It can all be stolen quite easily if you enter the wrong web site and don't have proper web security protections in place.

For the paranoid, never store any autofill stuff in your browser, use incognito/InPrivate mode so your browser cache and cookies will automatically be purged after each instance.

With that, I let Edge Remember my passwords and credentials. Then again, I'm the only user of my machine.

Hi,
Only as safe as your login info.

If you stay logged in all the time the info is not safe at all seeing anyone that has access to the machine also has access to your information but environment does matter.

I wouldn't do that if Edge is the only browser I use. The browser where I save those details would be used only for specific trusted/ reputed websites and not for casual browsing.

So, you use have multiple browsers dependent on content use? I just use one browser for everything.

Absolutely. I have 5 browsers, each for a specific type of use. This method is called Browser Compartmentalization and is an excellent way to reduce tracking, as well as keeping your data safe. I also use multiple profiles within the browser, where required.
