When the H*ll is MS going to realize that the 5 device limit is stupid and outdated? I tried to install a store app on my new mini pc and couldn't because I need to remove one of my devices. Hello MS, this is 2023 and a lot users (especially families) have way more than 5 devices. MS, please take a break from concentrating on new emojis and Widgets and concentrate on things that users actually want and/or need. The two on the top of my list is #1. Allow users setting up their computersfor the first time to choose their user name. You are doing your best to try and force us to be online when we are setting up windows. #2. Increase the number of devices we can have so that we can install store apps on all of our devices.

Odd it shows 10 devices limit. Have you still got old devices that have been scrapped still showing?

Checked the list of Store devices and was different to the main Devices list. In the Store device list I removed two long gone laptops and one VMware Windows install -dropping down to 4 devices.
It's good you posted here otherwise I wouldn't have known of the different Devices lists. :look:

Are you talking about the limit how many times a uwp app can be installed on different pcs, or are you talking about the nominal 10 devices that can be seen on the MS account.

I only have 5 devices that are connected to my MS Account. I tried to install Power Start Menu on my new mini PC and got the error that I needed to uninstall devices. If MS did increase the number than either the store needs to be updated again or my mini pc needs to update to 22H2.

Is that under Devices or Microsoft Store Devices management? They were different lists originally for me.
