MSI GT76 Titan DT 9SF: No boot logo/Can't get into bios when rebooting

When rebooting my computer I do not see the MSI boot logo and cannot go into my bios, I just see a black screen then the computer loads into Windows 11 after a few seconds. I cannot confirm when this started happening I just noticed it today when attempting to go into my bios.

I have tried updating my NVidia graphics card and removed my battery/memory and power cycled the laptop, this does not help. I have also tried hooking the laptop up to an extremal monitor to see if the boot sequence would show but it did not. I have also disassembled my entire laptop and replaces the cmos battery but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone please help I cannot get this to work and would appreciate any help I can get.

Depends upon the motherboard maker and company they got the BIOS from but having to wait for the Logo isn't always necessary. I've seen computers boot to the BIOS just by holding down the proper key or continuously pressing it right after pressing the On button. The key to press may be Esc [some HPs], F2, Del, F10, F12, etc. This is the time for trial and error. Knowing the maker of the BIOS may help but the motherboard manual should have the process.

Some BIOSes can allow changing the amount of time to wait before the OS loads. Twenty-five years ago the computers started booting too fast for the HDDs to get fully spun up so a 'trick' was to make the BIOS show its steps on screen, usually 10 or 15 seconds, allowed the HDD to be at full speed then load the OS. HDDs got much faster and now the SSDs are quite fast as are the computers.

I know how to get into the bios, by pressing the “del” key. I’ve gotten into the bios numerous times, it’s just now my screen is black when booting until windows loads then it shows the desktop.

When I press the “del” key on start up I believe it does go into the bios but since the screen is black I can’t see anything, that is my issue.

I think having 2 video adapter choices may be interfering but I haven't experienced that.

Thanks you for the link. I have tried all attempts to get into the bios and when I try any of the ways to get into it my computer restarts to the black screen and stays on the black screen. I am assuming I am actually in the bios but I can’t see because the screen is black.

I have to press the power button to turn off then back on the laptop then it boots into windows without showing the boot screen.

Maybe you could try to unplug it, remove battery and also remove the cmos battery as well and get the bios to reset!
Probably not practical with a laptop unless it can be opened easily.

I already did that. I even went as far as completely taking my laptop apart and flipping the motherboard so I can replace the cmos battery.

I am thinking this has to be graphics related. Why does windows display fine without issue, but the initial boot sequence where it shows the MSI logo is just all black now?

i have taken out all hard drives in my laptop and attempted to start the laptop to get to the bios but I just get a black screen.

Why is there no msi logo or anything on the screen? If I put the harddrive back in windows loads and get me to the desktop but it’s as if no bios functions work at all, they don’t even display when initially booting.
