Multi desktop link?

So I was trying to work out how to move an app from one desktop to desktop and somehow managed to have a small window that contained desktop 2 in the left hand corner of desktop 1. I closed it and now I don't know how I did it. It showed a little white button saying linked

Any ideas?

I have worked out since how to move applications, you just open the desktop switcher and drop the app from the top area onto window you want it on.

Okay, I think its a bug



You can't interact with the window apart from click the button

In the desktop switcher, you can sometimes drag the little windows onto the desktop and it leaves that behind. Its not consistent and if you open switcher again, it disappears.

So I guess this post is in wrong area?
