MWB Disabled-Taking bets if January cumulative will install
I'm one of those that cumulative updates fail every single month if MWB is running. Then I have to jump through hoops to install it. It's update Tuesday time again and I've disabled Malwarebytes. I have a dollar that says January cumulative will install without my intervention. Any takers?

I gave up using MWB as it never picked up anything that Defender did not anyway. Frankly, I think it lives on its reputation more than actually being any better these days.

@cereberus I notice where there have been several similar reports over on the MWB board but since the MWB people can not duplicate it, they do not seem to be taking it very seriously nor does Microsoft. If one or the other doesn't come up with a solution soon, I'll be ditching MWB myself even though I've used it over 20 years. I have to mark my calendar every month the day before update Tuesday.
I can't believe it could be Windows configuration dependent, but I guess it could be anything, even hardware configuration since the complaints I read all seemed to have late generation CPUs, but that wouldn't make much sense to me. None of it does.

Might want to try the free version. It doesn't have a real-time component
